I love teaching and I see it as an important part of my creative practice. I have maintained a private teaching studio for over 20 years and worked with hundreds of inspiring students. Working one-on-one with a student is a powerful format to unlock new possibilities, encourage steady growth and kindle creativity in my students.

My travels around the world as a performer have also given me the opportunity to conduct many masterclasses with groups of young musicians. These group sessions range widely in topic from improvisation, groove, group interplay to music business, tour booking and career development. Masterclasses are always inspiring and provide the chance to deal directly with concepts like communication, interaction and community that are so essential to our music.
